Pathfinder, ttrpg readings, Malazan books…
What's new at my gaming table?
This month, I was able to referee two games of Pathfinder 2E with the continuation of the Beginners Box (and a fight against an cinder rat and then xulgaths - like the one pictured above - which left bloody traces in the group!). Not all players were able to be present each time, but we had decided at the start of the campaign that if 3 of the 4 were available, we would play, so that we could move forward despite scheduling constraints.
As a player, I was back in the boots of FBI Agent Sanchez, a tough-as-nails badass who reunites with his two sidekicks after several months of peace and quiet without having heard of Delta Green. Alas, a phone call precipitates them into a house where not-so-normal events are taking place. It's Onos, the housekeeper, who delights in making us suffer (he's even going to launch a major campaign!)...
FYI, the quickstart booklet has at last been translated in french so let’s hope the game will be successful in my country!
On another note, I've been offered fantasy miniatures and painting, so I'll “have” to get back into it for fun! It's been a long time since I've hold a paintbrush for ttrpg!
Latest articles published on the blog
As always, my posts are written in french but your browser may propose to translate them
We're nearing the end of the ‘Adventures in Phandaline’ reports, and the next one will be the last! The party has fought all the elemental cults and is now ready to meet the BBEG, having no idea who (and where) they’ll fight him.
I've also written an article on the G2 module - The Glacial Rift of the Frost Giant Jarl, in the classics for AD&D, and I'll soon be publishing the sequel with G3 (it's respectively cold and hot on the blog!).
Last but not least, reading an old magazine, Dungeon Magazine 85, to get inspired.
Readings and inspirations
Readings: I've finished volume 5 of Steven Erikson's Book of the Fallen: The Midnight Tides, and am well into volume 6, The Bonehunters, a reread with some harrowing events (as always in this series, in fact!).

Publications of the month
I regularly give away my program on my Patreon page, and again this month, I haven't published much, caught between a lack of time and a slight drop in motivation linked to the lack of success of what I create.
Finally, I've put online a little project I've been working on (sporadically) for months: 10 non-player characters to flesh out the campaigns around Phandalin. Some of them have been crossed by my players, others not, but I wanted to publish them, and now I have! This is my first creation for the DMs Guild, since it uses the intellectual property of Wizards of the Coast and D&D. Normally, this little booklet should be followed by two or three others inspired by this universe. Link

an ‘old school’ blue map One Page Dungeon
the one on the AD&D PHB cover will ultimately be more extensive (it will be kind of a mini-module)
